Due to life commitments we ask that you book a trip with us at least thirty (30) days in advance. This is to ensure that you and your guide have the opportunity to make travel arrangements in a timely manner. However, we also may be able to accommodate tours or presentations with shorter notice. Please Contact Us to see if your day/days are open for booking.
We accept credit card payments via PayPal, along with checks and money orders. We request a 50% deposit at least thirty days in advance. Cancellations may be made up to two weeks in advance and refunded in full. Any cancellations within two weeks of the tour will not be refunded (exceptions may apply). The balance of payment is due the day of the tour, if not already paid in full.
To enjoy your tour more fully, we advise some common sense practices along the way. Weather, hot or cold, wet or dry, can always play a factor in your comfort. We suggest carrying a small pack with a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, water, and snacks. Wear comfortable and supportive footwear, be it boots or walking shoes.
We can suggest several lodging options for most tours, ranging from economical motels to more lavish accommodations. While opinions are subjective, most of our recommendations are of places we have personally stayed during our own trips so we provide you with some insight based on your preferences.
We always enjoy good conversation, a good meal, and a cold pint of lager or a glass of wine after a day of battlefield tramping. We believe in supporting local businesses and can suggest a variety of dining options for nearly any price point and palette.
